A Cut Above was established in 1979 in a humble 428 square feet salon in Wisma HLA by a husband and wife team, Ms. Winnie Loo and Mr. Richard Teo. With their deep passion and strong commitment, A Cut Above steadily progressed, as Malaysians were educated on total health care, hairstyling and image grooming.
Today, A Cut Above is the most acclaimed and distinguished group of salons in Malaysia. Our excellent services in professional hairdressing is evident with A Cut Above’s five outlets, namely in Bangsar Shopping Complex, Bangsar Village II, Mid Valley Megamall, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre and Parkson @ Pavilion Shopping Centre.
A Cut Above has three brands under its wing; namely the Restyle, X-Cut and the A Cut Above Academy. Restyle, formerly known as the A Cut Above Studio is a salon that offers package services, i.e. one package for one price. X-Cut is the RM18 hair cut in 15 minutes targeted for customers who need express haircut and style. A Cut Above Academy is an academy that nurtures the best and most professional hairdressing skills by experts and educators.
